  1. Narrated by Aisha(ra) who said:
“I used to enter the building in which the Messenger of Allah and my father were buried while I was dressed lightly, saying: ‘These are just my husband and father.’

However, when ‘Umar was buried, by Allah, I never entered this building except that my clothing was wrapped tightly around my body, out of shyness from ‘Umar.”

[al-Hakim's 'Mustadrak' (4/7), and he declared it authentic]

  2. ‘Abdullah ibn Shaddaad said,
“I heard the sobbing of ‘Umar from the last rows while he was reciting the verse from the Qur’an: “I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah”. (12:86)
(al Bukhari, al Bayhaqi (2/251), saheeh)

  3. Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 620:

    Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

Allah’s Apostle said, “When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world.”

  4. From Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah from the Prophet, who said:
‘I have been given permission to speak about one of the angels of Allah who carry the Throne.
The distance between his ear-lobes and his shoulders is equivalent to a seven-hundred-year journey.’”
Sunan Abee Daawood, Kitaab al-Sunnah, Baab fi’l-Jahamiyyah)

  5. It is authentically reported from Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Prophet said:
“When Allah orders a matter in the heaven, the angels beat their wings in humility and submission to His Words, and the sound is like the sound of a chain on smooth rocks; they continue to do so until it enters their hearts.
Then, when fear has been removed from their hearts, they (i.e. some of the angels) say: “What has your Lord said?”
They (the others) reply: “The Truth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great,”

    Narrated by Bukhari

  6. Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 39, Number 517:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet said,
“While a man was riding a cow, it turned towards him and said, ‘I have not been created for this purpose (i.e. carrying), I have been created for sloughing.”
The Prophet added, “I, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar believe in the story.” The Prophet went on, “A wolf caught a sheep, and when the shepherd chased it, the wolf said, ‘Who will be its guard on the day of wild beasts, when there will be no shepherd for it except me?’
“After narrating it, the Prophet said, “I, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar too believe it.”
Abu Salama (a sub-narrator) said, “Abu Bakr and ‘Umar were not present then.”

  7. Mu’awiyah bin Aws narrated:

“I saw Hisham bin ‘Ammar, and when he would walk in the street, he would look down to the ground, and he would never raise his head to the sky, out of shyness from Allah – the Mighty and Majestic.”

    ['Siyar A'lam an-Nubala''; 11/430]

  8. Allah’s Messenger, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said:
“If Allah loves someone He calls (angel) Jibreel and says: I love so-and-so, so you love him. Jibreel loves him, and calls the other angels in Heaven to love that person. They love him,
then his love will be made upon earth, and he becomes loved.

“And if Allah hates someone He calls Jibreel and says: I hate so-and-so and you hate him. Jibreel hates him and calls the angels in Heaven and says: Allah hates so-and-so, so you all hate him. They all hate him, and his hatred is made upon earth
and he becomes hated.” – Muslim

This hadith is so amazing , One can pick out benefits from it as much as one wants n it will still have more points of benefit in it.

I wont coment but will ask everyone in here to picture this , Imagine it , use ur imagination and think about it n ponder over it… n may Allah make us all of those who work hard to get close to Allah and get the Love of Allah.

  9. Al Qasim bin Muhammad said,
“Whenever I went out in the morning, I used to visit `Aishah radhiallahu `anha (his aunt and the wife of the Prophet, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) and greet her.
One day I found her performing Ad Duha prayer, reciting this Ayah repeatedly, crying and invoking Allah: ‘So Allah has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire.’ (52:27)
I stood there until I felt bored, so I left and went to the market to do something and said to myself that when I finish what I have to do, I will go back (to`Aishah radhiallahu `anha).
When I finished and went back to her, I found her still standing in prayer, reciting the same Ayah, crying and invoking Allah.’”
    [Al Ihya 4/436]

  10. Ibn al-Qayyim (r.a.) – Al-Waabilus-Sayyib minal-Kalimit-Tayyib ( p. 15)

One of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) said:

“Indeed a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire.” It was asked: How is that? So he replied: “The one who committed the sin, constantly thinks about it; which causes him to fear it, regret it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord – the Most High – due to it. He stands before Allaah, broken-hearted and with his head lowered in humility. So this sin is more beneficial to him than doing many acts of obedience, since it caused him to have humility and humbleness – which leads to the servant’s happiness and success – to the extent that this sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise. As for the doer of good, then he does not consider this good a favour from his Lord Upon him. Rather, he becomes arrogant and amazed with himself, saying: I have achieved such and such, and such and such . So this further increases him in self adulation, pride and arrogance – such that this becomes the cause for his destruction.”

  11. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (radyAllaahu ‘anhu), the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said that Allaah said:

“Indeed I am as My servant presumes me to be. And I am with him when He remembers me, so if he remembers Me to himself then I remember him to Myself. And if he remembers Me amongst a company I remember him amongst a company greater than it and if he draws close to Me a span of a hand I draw near to him the span of an arm. And if he draws near Me the span of an arm, I draw near him the span of two outstretched arms. And if he takes a step towards Me, I quickly step towards him.” [Al-Bukharee and Muslim]

  12. Abu Hurairah (radhiallâhu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (sallallâhu ‘alayhi wasallam) said, “Allah (Mighty and sublime be He) said: ‘Whoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask (something) of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about (seizing) the soul of my faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.’” (Bukhari 8/509)

    Brings me to tears

  13. Death will definitely come, Then why fear death? If death is definite, then why should a man die laying on a bed? Death in the path of Allah is not death but indeed life everlasting life. (quote of Shaykh Anwar Awlaqi (Rahmatullah Alaih)

  14. On the authority of Zaid bin Aslam Al-Adawi (RA) from his father (RA), the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Jihad will always feel sweet and beautiful as long as rain still falls from the sky. Yet there will come upon mankind an era, when at that time, the people who understand the Qur’an (scholars) from amongst them say, ‘This era is not the time of jihad.’ Whoever encounters those days, then let him know that those are the best times for Jihad.” The Companions asked: “O Messenger of Allah (SAW), will anyone really say that?” He (SAW) replied: “Yes, he upon whom is the curse of Allah, His Angels and all of mankind.” [Ibn Asakir transmitted it. (Mashari- ul-Ashwaq by Ibn Nuhaas, Vol. 1, P. 110)]

  15. Ubada bin Samit narrates, that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said,
“The shaheed is granted seven gifts from Allah: 1) He is forgiven at the first drop
of his blood. 2) He sees his status in Jannah. 3) He is dressed in the clothes of
Iman. 4) He is safe from the punishment of the grave. 5) He will be safe from the
Great fear of the Day of Judgment. 6) A crown of honor will be placed on his
head. 7) He will intercede on behalf of 70 members of his family.” (Musnad
    Ahmed, Tabrani, at-Targheeb wa at-Tarheeb, p.443, vol.2)
May Allah include us amongst the Shuhada! Ameen.

    • Ibn Al Qayyim said

“Whosoever causes his heart to settle with his Lord shall find himself in a calm and tranquil condition and whosoever sends it amongst the people shall be disturbed and excessively perturbed.” (The Hardness of The Heart)
